One of the highlights of the Borough Market is its wide variety of fresh produce. In order to help you make the most of your experience at the market, we’ve compiled a list of the fruits and vegetables that are available at the different times of the year. Channel your inner chef and pick up the freshest supplies to whip up a dish featuring the flavors of the season.

Spring:

Vegetables: cabbage, cauliflower, carrot, celeriac, globe artichoke, lettuce, new potatoes, pak choi, pepper, peas, potato radicchio, radish, spinach, spring greens, watercress

Fruits: banana, grapefruit, lemon, pomegranate, rhubarb

Summer:

Vegetables: Asparagus, aubergine, basil, beetroot, cabbage, carrot, cavolo nero, celery, courgette, courgette flower, fennel bulb, garlic, globe artichoke, lamb’s lettuce, lettuce, marrow, pak choi, pepper, peas, radicchio, radish, runner bean, samphire, spinach, sweet corn, Swiss chard

Fruits: apricot, banana, blackberry, blackcurrants, cherry, damson, fig, gooseberry, nectarine, peach, pomegranate, strawberry, tomato, watermelon

Fall:

Vegetables: Aubergine, beetroot, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cavolo nero, celeriac, celery, kale, kohlrabi, lamb’s lettuce, leeks, lettuce, pak choi, parsnip, pepper, peas, pumpkin, radicchio, radish, runner bean, salsify, sweet potato, Swiss chard, watercress, turnip

Fruits: apple, banana, fig, pear, pomegranate, quince, raspberry, redcurrant, strawberry, tomato

Winter:

Vegetables: beetroot, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, celeriac, celery, chicory, Jerusalem artichoke, kale, leeks, pak choi, parsnip, pumpkin, purple sprouting broccoli, radicchio, salsify, swede, sweet potato, turnip
